Push America Challenge: Marine Corps Marathon/10k
The Marine Corps Marathon weekend is one of Push America's premier events and brings a level of camaraderie second to none. As nearly 75 Push America Challenge team members embark on our nation's capitol on October 28, 2012, the breathtaking landscape and nearly 100,000 spectators provide an amazing atmosphere for Push America to show the abilities of all people.  

ENABLING ATHLETES 
In its 5th consecutive year as a partnering charity of the marathon, Push America is hoping to raise $100,000 in order to provide valuable opportunities for people with disabilities. In addition to providing grants to organizations supporting people with disabilities across the country, Push America has launched its own Enabled Athlete Program in which athletes with disabilities are encouraged to pursue their own athletic or recreational goals. Through the Marine Corps Marathon, 10% of the funds raised will go towards the Enabled Athlete Program to provide the opportunity for athletes with disabilities to compete in the marathon with Push America or take part in another Push America Challenge event.

FUNDRAISING
All Marine Corps Marathon and 10k participants are required to raise $1,500 and $500 respectively to help Push America better serve people with disabilities. Participants are guaranteed automatic entry into the sold out race as well as training and fundraising support, free sportswear, access weekend events and much more. There are many benefits and perks to participating; however, the overall feeling of knowing your participation has provided valuable opportunities for others is what the event is all about and makes the finish line that much more sweet.
